Jakob Fichert presents a concert of music curated by Tom Armstrong based around a variation tapestry: a continuous programme of music that weaves around variations on the same musical idea. This is proceeded by James Else’s A stolen moment, itself based on a fragment from Liszt’s Au bord d’une source from the first suite of Années de Pèlerinage.
