YUU Summer Gathering 2021

This year’s Summer Gathering will be taking place at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park on Saturday 10th July 2021 meeting at the main car park at 11:00am.

Due to current Covid restrictions tickets have to be pre-booked before the day. People are being request to make their own individual bookings via the Yorkshire Sculpture Park website:- https://ysp.org.uk/

By Car
The best postcode for sat nav is WF4 4JX.

Exit the M1 at Junction 38, take the A637 towards Huddersfield, and follow the Yorkshire Sculpture Park brown heritage signs for one mile until you reach a roundabout. At this roundabout, turn left and follow the road through to the YSP Car Park and Centre. View on Google Maps

By Train
Wakefield Westgate is the nearest mainline station, around seven miles from YSP. A taxi from the station costs approximately £10. London King’s Cross to Wakefield takes approximately 2 hours.

By Bus
The 96 bus runs Monday–Saturday between Wakefield and Barnsley, with regular stops at YSP

Once we have gathered in the main car park at 11:00am we will have a chat and find somewhere to have lunch together (Please bring your own or purchase food from the onsite café) then there will be time to roam around looking at the exhibitions.
