Saving the Heritage of Whitby’s Hidden Chapel

An immense thank you for all the generous donations we`ve received for this appeal.

A crowdfunding appeal was launched to restore this piece of hidden heritage in Whitby for more people to discover and to use it as a community resource.

The appeal closes at 9.34am on Saturday 26th October 2019.

This is the start of a long process.

Raising our target of £3000 will be added to the Friends of Flowergate Chapel Fund which has raised approx £3,500.

We intend this to be used as match funding for our Heritage Project.

£6,500 will help us to apply for a grant of £13,000 which in turn can be used as match funding for double that amount.

If our appeal exceeds £3,000, all the better.
