Great Hucklow Chapel Re-Opening

AN OPEN INVITATION
To the reopening of Great Hucklow Unitarian Chapel
Dyrte Lane, Great Hucklow, Buxton, Derbyshire. SK17 8RG
Sunday 1st August 2021

The Service will commence at 11am
The whole community is invited to join us.
RSVP: steve@helpwithadmin.com

OUTDOOR SERVICE
The service will be held outside, in front of the Chapel (chairs provided) and will last approximately 45 minutes.

ENTRY TO THE CHAPEL WILL BE AT THE END

The chapel will be open from 10.30am and there will be music played by Marie FitzPatrick.

As the service draws to an end the ribbon will be cut to re-open the Chapel. This will be done by special guest baby Philippa Cone and her Mum Madeleine Cone. The last activity the day before we closed the Chapel was to baptise Philippa. Little did we know we would then be closed for so long.

At the end of the outdoor service everyone will be invited to process through the Chapel. Music will be played during this.

If you wish to sit and enjoy the cool peace in the Chapel then you can and if you so wish, you can light a candle of joys and concern in one of the many chalices that will be available.

SUMMER GARDEN PARTY
Commending at approximately 12.30pm
After the Service everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us all in the gardens behind the Chapel for summer refreshments to celebrate the occasion.

PARKING
If you are travelling from outside of the village it would be helpful if you could arrive with plenty of time to spare to enable parking to be contained within the Car Park of The Nightingale Centre that is just opposite the Chapel. Please do not park outside the Chapel.
